What this is
Oath is a political strategy game about the rulers, citizens, and exiles of an ancient land whose history continues from one session to the next. Players travel among sites, recruit denizens, gather favor and secrets, muster warbands, and campaign for territory or relics while pursuing the current oath or a private vision of victory. The winner's choices alter the cards, geography, and political conditions inherited by the next game without following a scripted campaign.
