Agreement and operator
These terms govern your use of Board Game Almanac, operated by Amafi (HK) Limited. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The current service
Board Game Almanac provides board-game discovery, catalog metadata, personal collection tools, and product previews. Some forum, deal, ranking, publisher, and rules-assistant interfaces are clearly labelled previews and are not yet production services.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure. Provide accurate information, do not impersonate another person or organization, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account from the product’s profile controls.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its security, scrape it in a way that degrades availability, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or infringing material, manipulate rankings or engagement, or use automated accounts to mislead other users. Future community areas may have additional moderation rules.
Catalog, rankings, and recommendations
Catalog facts may be incomplete or relate to a particular edition. Rankings and recommendations are opinions or model outputs, not guarantees that a game will suit you. Sponsored placements will be labelled and do not purchase a higher organic score.
Rules information
Any future rules answer or teaching feature is a convenience. You should check its cited official rulebook, FAQ, errata, and edition. The publisher’s current official ruling controls when a generated explanation conflicts with it.
External links and deals
External retailer, crowdfunding, publisher, or community links are operated by third parties. Verify price, availability, shipping, safety, campaign risk, and terms with the destination service. We are not responsible for a third party’s products or conduct.
Intellectual property and reports
The service software, brand, and original presentation belong to Amafi (HK) Limited or its licensors. Game names and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Publishers and rights holders may request corrections or report rights concerns through support.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every fact, link, recommendation, or answer is error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Otherwise, Amafi (HK) Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
Suspension, changes, and law
We may suspend access needed to protect users, rights holders, or the service, and may change or discontinue features. We will update these terms when material changes are made. These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
