What this is
Gloomhaven follows a company of mercenaries through a branching campaign of dungeon scenarios and consequential choices. In combat, each player selects two cards and combines the top action of one with the bottom action of the other, making initiative, positioning, and hand endurance part of every turn. Characters gain equipment and abilities, eventually retire, and unlock new possibilities in a world that changes with the group's decisions.
